Sorry it's been a while since the last post. I've been working my ass off getting ready for Baltimore and a Gloucester, MA art fair. Lots of new paintings to come!

Heroes Con was great!

Hey Everyone!
Had a great time at Heroes! Met a lot of cool people, had some great food. It really was an amazing convention. I can't wait to go back next year. Hopefully I won't have crazy flight schedules to keep to. I had to leave early, so sorry to everyone I didn't get to see or say bye to at the end of Sunday.
Next up is Baltimore Comic Con! I'm really hoping to have some new pieces done, more sketch cards and even some custom Mighty Muggs!

Also Thank you to everyone who bought a Back To The Future print! I'll be donating the proceeds to the Michael J FOx Foundation For Parkinson's Research soon!

Heroes KAAAAAAHN!!

Hey guys!
Getting ready for Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC this upcoming weekend! I'll have new prints for your purchasing pleasure. I'm really excited to go. There's a lot of people I want to catch up with and meet! Plus I keep hearing something about having to try a lasagna pizza. I'm pretty sure anything more insane than a lasagna pizza could make the world crack in half, but this mixture of foods might just be right on the line.....least they're both Italian. ^_^
So pardon me if I'm a bit jumbled and in super blonde mode at the convention, I'm moving this week as well as wrapping up a sculpt for Hasbro. I should go back to semi-sane mode the week after where I will be starting a new exciting project as well as probably busting out some commissions! (hopefully there's commissions, I gots a lizard to feed and his bugs start to add up $$) LOL.
I am also starting to become veeery interested in power kiting. Maybe I should try and purchase some health insurance first though....nah, more incentive not to f*ck up. :D As long as I don't mess up my feelers!

Anyway, I'm off, gotta pack tomorrow for a potential rainy move day. Wish me luck and hope everyone has a great Memorial Day!

No Big Apple Con For Me...

Hey quick update guys,
So Big Apple Con changed their date to the first weekend in October. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to this one because of the date change. But I'm gonna be a pretty pretty bridesmaid for my very good friend's wedding, which I'm super excited about!
So hopefully I can get into NYCC (Oct 8-10) But I have to wait till about the end of this month to hear back from them. Soooo mmmyeah. That's a lovely little slice of news I was served today from the big e-mail pie.

But! anyone in the New England-y area can come find me at Manchester, NH's Granite Con May 23rd!

New Pieces Hot Off The Desk!

So! I've been a busy little bee trying to get a batch of new work to show at some of my upcoming conventions. May 23rd's my next one is in Manchester, NH for Granite Con! Come say Hi!

So, I've been watching a sh*t-ton of Mystery Science Theater 3000 lately. My god, there are few times when true genius is shared with the common public and I believe MST3K is one of those cases. Have to say that I like the Mike era a bit better, so here is my tribute to the Robot Roll Call to the left.

What else...hmmm....Oh! Went hang gliding for the first time this season last week....wind direction kinda sucked but I managed to make it back up to the 250' launch after having not flown for about 6 months.

Oh. I also smashed my left pinkie on my speakers....that have blunt corners...and somehow put a gash in the top of my finger.....SARA SMASH!!

Well back to work! I gots me a little commission with a Mr. Kit Fisto to start!

The Convention Marathon is OVER...for a few weeks.

Hey Guys! Thank you to everyone who came to say hi at the last bunch of conventions I attended. (C2E2 friggin' rocked! Can't wait for next year) Just came back from Pittsburgh Comic Con on Sunday/Monday morning and my GOD, that drive sucked.
So now I'm swamped with commissions (I have food moneys!) and I'm trucking through them. I'm also planning some stuff to get ready for big ol' Heroes Con in June. It's going to rock. I keep hearing great things about it and I'm so excited to see some people again that I only briefly got to chat with. You guys know who you are. Haha.
Anyway, first done on my list was the cute little kitty you see to your left. This was a portrait of a clients tuxedo kitty adorable extreme! Cat's are so much fun to draw.
Anyway, I also want to give a shout out to one of my best friends, Abby who's having her birthday tomorrow! WE....WILL....EAT...SUSHI!
