OMG EISNER NOMINATION! WHAT?!

Hey guys!
Sorry it's been so long, I've been up to the eyeballs in Ponies and a few other projects lately so time to post has been sparse. And most of the stuff I've been doing I can't show yet anyway! Soon though....sooon.

Anyway! I've posted this earlier on Facebook and Twitter and stuff but I realized I haven't yet posted this on my blog:

My kid's book, Kitty & Dino has been nominated for an Eisner!! I am so excited about this and really surprised. It's under the catagory for "Best Publications For Young Readers (Under 7)"
So if you are a comics industry professional or retailer you can vote here! I hope you could support me! You don't have to....there are some other really good books there....but you know....just sayin....it'd make me quite a happy girl.

So! Yeah! Anyway! Back to work! Currently working on a cover of a table top game for Game Salute and some more Poh-nay covers :) Got a few shows coming up too. Hope to see you there!

Pet portraits!

Yup! I get to paint a lot of people's pets and I love it. The most fun challenge is trying to capture the character and this guy, Earl had it in boatloads. I love his goofy smile!

Runaways

Hey Errybody! Just finished up this Runaways piece! 10x25 on paper with acrylics per usual. I'm really happy how it came out :) I really like dthe beginning of this series, then I kinda fell out of it. Karolina is so much fun to draw. I wish more people would ask me to draw her (hint hint wink!) Also Old Lace was fun, but I love dinosaurs so I'm a little biased :) So! Now I am exhausted and I have to get my tax stuff done tomorrow....Bleh. No fun. Damn you Uncle Sam, takin' all my monies! I have a chubby cat to feed, and if I don't i may wake up one morning with my lips chewed off....and that would be a wee bit unfortunate.
